ENGLISH BULLDOG

Dignified, Stubborn, Friendly

Breed Overview

The English Bulldog is a man-made breed, bred for its large head, short stature, and wrinkled face. These dogs are easygoing and affable, known to be affectionate and great with children. They love to spend time snoring on the couch after a short walk. Sweet, sociable, and courageous, an English Bulldog is a lover, not a fighter.

Bulldogs are not frequent barkers, but snore, snuffle and snort often. They are sensitive to temperatures, overheating easily, and chilling quickly in the cold. Due to their short muzzle, this breed is gassy and tends to drool. Known for being stubborn, English Bulldogs respond to consistent training and are very food motivated.
